We have lots of exciting volunteer opportunities.
Whether it’s running one of our activities, working with our collection, giving tours in the galleries, manning our reception desk and shop or something else we would love to hear from you!
You could volunteer to:
be part of a friendly team of gallery volunteers
be one of our 'Tales to Tell' oral history project team
help with reminiscence sessions
develop and lead school sessions

Become a Member
Membership of the Trust gives you a unique opportunity to support our museum enabling you to take part in the social and cultural activities organised by the Trust.
Membership entitles you to:
Preferential booking for events
Invitations to pre-view new exhibitions
Discount in the new retail space
Receive Newsletters
Annual Subscriptions
Members must be over 16 years of age
Ordinary Member £15
Joint Membership (Two Adults) £25
Concessionary Memberships:
Persons aged 60 and over £10
Young people aged 16 to 25 years or Unemployed £10
Please complete the membership form below and return to us, indicating your preferred method of payment (Internet Banking Payment, Standing Order, Cash or Credit Card).
You can also pay by cash or credit card in person at the museum Reception Desk.
Your subscription may be eligible for Gift Aid. If you are a UK Tax Payer, please consider completing a Charity Gift Aid Declaration and return it with your membership application.
